
Summary of Findings - Final
As part of the Age-Friendly Awareness Day held in Gimli on October 9, 2008, individuals
were asked to complete a brief questionnaire designed to collect information on the agefriendliness
of their community. A total of 26 questionnaires were completed; 20 individuals
identified Gimli as their community of residence.
This report summarizes the findings from the
20 Gimli residents who completed the Age-Friendly communities Survey; 85% identified
themselves as a senior.

Housing In Gimli
As part of an Age-Friendly workshop held in Gimli on October 9, 2008, individuals were
asked to complete a brief survey designed to collect information on housing in Gimli. This report
summarizes the findings from the 21 individuals who completed the Housing in Gimli Survey.

Gimli Flu Clinic Survey
As part of a flu clinic held in Gimli, individuals were asked to complete a brief
questionnaire designed to collect information on the age-friendliness of their community. A total
of 57 questionnaires were completed; 42 individuals identified Gimli as their community of
residence. This report summarizes the findings from the 42 Gimli residents who completed the
Age-Friendly Communities Survey; 90% identified themselves as a senior.
