The focal point of indoor activity is the Gimli and District Recreation Centre which includes a hockey arena, a five-sheet curling rink, a canteen and a banquet room with a lounge.
The Gimli Rec Centre provides recreational and entertainment opportunities for residents and visitors alike. Curling, hockey, public skating, baseball, softball and soccer are some programs available through the Rec Centre.
The modern multi-function Recreation Centre is a venue for a variety of sporting and entertainment events throughout the year including PolkaFest, Elvis Fest, Amateur Boxing, the Summer Craft Show, and the Fall Craft Show.
