Gimli Fair Trade

Gimli became Manitoba's first and Canada's sixth Fair Trade Town officially on July 1st, 2009.  Fair TradeCertified supports producers in developing countries around the world by offering them fair prices/ wages, by ensuring that the production methods they use on fields and in factories are safe for them and the environment, and by offering them a "fair trade bonus" that allows them to undertake community projects such as building clinics and schools.

Throughout Gimli, you can find fair trade coffee, tea, sugar, chocolate, wine, beer, spices and much more being served and sold!  Just look for the Fair Trade Certified logo!
