The RM of Gimli is and will continue to work in cooperation with our Federal and Provincial partners in addressing public safety protocol in respect to COVID 19.
To assist with keeping the risk to the general public minimal, it is critical that measures be taken to slow down the spread among our community and help prevent overwhelming the resources of our health care system.
The RM of Gimli is implementing the following strategic actions, as of tomorrow, November 4th, 2020;
Administration Office: Business will be conducted via phone, email, electronic banking and mail delivery service. The RM Office building will be closed to the public.
Contact information will be posted on the front door for other agencies in the building.
Council will continue to hold Council Meetings at the Recreation Centre where safety protocols are in place.
Rec Centre: Will continue to operate in accordance with the current Orders under The Public Health Act and will remain open to the public.
Public Works: All operations will continue as usual, with best hygienic practices implemented. Business will be conducted via phone or email. The building will be closed to the public.
